29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toeboards: (a)-At the Airside Terminal E of the Tampa International Airport-The existing guardrail system of the high lift truck (8585) used to cater the narrow isle aircraft such like B-717 and MD-88 did not extend enough and left an opening of approximately 46 inches wide. As observed on or about 08/27/2014, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately eight feet. The Gate Gourmet, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 316452333, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/29/2012, with respect to a workplace located at Tampa Florida.
