29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or another provision in paragraph (b) of this section which provides for an alternative fall protection measure: (a) Barcenas Roofing, at 8966 35th Avenue, Denver, CO: On 8/20/14, Barcenas Roofing did not ensure that each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or another provision in paragraph (b) of this section which provides for an alternative fall protection measure. Five employees were re-roofing a two story home. The employees were working upon the roof of the second story. This condition exposed the employees to a fall hazard of approximately thirteen feet.

Five employees were re-roofing a two story home. The employees were working upon the roof of the second story. The employees had not been provided fall protection training. This condition exposed the employees to a fall hazard of approximately thirteen feet.
