Among others, one feasible and acceptable method of abatement is to follow ASME B30.2-2011, entitled "Overhead and Gantry Cranes" Section 2-2.1.5 Periodic Inspection: (b) Equipment shall be inspected at intervals dependent on the use of the equipment as follows: 1) Normal Service - monthly; 2) Heavy Service - weekly to monthly; 3) Severe Service - daily to weekly.
