29 CFR 1910.179(j)(3): Complete inspections of the crane was not being performed at intervals as generally defined in paragraph (j)(1)(ii)(b) of this section: a) Worksite - On or about August 22, 2014, periodic inspections were not performed and documented by the employer at intervals required by the extent and frequency of use. Among others, one feasible and acceptable method of abatement is to follow ASME B30.2-2011, entitled "Overhead and Gantry Cranes" Section 2-2.1.5 Periodic Inspection: (b) Equipment shall be inspected at intervals dependent on the use of the equipment as follows: 1) Normal Service - monthly; 2) Heavy Service - weekly to monthly; 3) Severe Service - daily to weekly.
