29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):  Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.  (a) Colorado Construction at Hwy 85 and Colorado Parkway, Eaton, CO 80615:  On August 14, 2014 the exposing employer did not ensure that employees were protected from injury, in that employees framing near the edge of the second level of the building were not utilizing a fall protection system.  Employees were also walking on the 5-in-12 pitch sheeted roof without utilizing a fall protection system.  This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 18 feet.
