29 CFR 1910.151(c): 29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:  (a) On the utility cart used by maintenance worker(s), a diluted Chlorox bleach solution (bleach mixed with equal parts water) was contained in a 16 oz. spray bottle which was erroneously labeled as "Gila Window Application Solution".  Exposure to the diluted bleach solution could cause severe eye irritation and, potentially, eye damage.  According to the product label and material safety data sheet information for the bleach, in the event of eye exposure to this substance the eyes must be rinsed with water for at least 15 minutes.  However, a suitable eye wash station was not available at this worksite.

(b) On the utility cart used by maintenance worker(s), Pine-Sol was contained in an unlabeled 32 oz. spray bottle.  Exposure to Pine-Sol could cause eye irritation.   Esperanza Unida, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 951170, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on April 15, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 611 W. National Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53204.
