29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a)  At Lot 56PB  2163 Addison Way Prattville, Alabama:  On or about August 21, 2014 and at times prior; the employer failed to ensure employees involved in roof activities on a high slope roof were using fall protection properly exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 9.3 feet to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  a) Front of House Lot 56PB Prattville, Alabama:  On or about August 21, 2014 and at times prior; the employer failed to ensure a portable ladder used by employees to gain access to the roof of a house had its rails extend at least three feet past the landing area exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 9.3 fee to the ground below.  b) Side of House Lot 56PB Prattville, Alabama:  On or about August 21, 2014 and at times prior; the employer failed to ensure a portable ladder used by employees to gain access to the roof of a house had its rails extend at least three feet past the landing area exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 9.3 fee to the ground below.
