29 CFR 1926.451(b)(1): Each platform on all working levels of scaffolds was not fully planked or decked between the front uprights and the guardrail supports as specified in paragraphs 1926.451(b)(1)(i)-(ii): a) Site - On or about 08/22/14 and at times prior thereto workers performed brick masonry work from the platform of the tubular welded frame scaffold. Only 50 percent of the platform surface was planked and employees were exposed to 7.0 ft. 10 in. falls to ground level. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
