29 CFR 1926.1051(a): Stairway(s) or ladder(s) were not provided at all personnel points of access where there was a break in elevation of 19 inches (48 cm) or more, or no ramp, runway, sloped embankment, or personnel hoist was provided: (a) Muhlenberg Township - Employees crossed a 36 inch pipe to complete a welding process. The employer did not provide a stairway or ladder when there was a change in elevation greater then 19 inches, on or about August 22, 2014. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
