29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): Work rest(s) on grinding machinery were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch and/or not used with work rest(s) to support offhand grinding work: On or about August 25, 2014, and at times prior thereto, employees were using a pedestal grinders with the tool rest not adjusted to within an 1/8 in. from the wheel or had the tool rest completely missing. Employees were exposed to the hazard of contact with the abrasive wheel.
