29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition(s) a) On or about August 29, 2014, the employer did not assure that the Crown C5 forklift #1 (Model C51050-60, Serial# 9A172986) was removed from service during a time in which it was in need of repair. Employees were exposed to injuries related to unsafe operating conditions in that the steering tires were damaged.
