29 CFR 1926.451(g)(3)(i): Vertical lifelines were not fastened to a fixed safe point of anchorage, independent of the scaffold, and protected from sharp edges and abrasion. a) Waterproofing Contractors, Inc. - On or about August 29, 2014, vertical lifelines draped over the concrete parapet wall for employees working on the stage 1 scaffold were not protected from abrasions. b) Waterproofing Contractors, Inc. - On or about August 29, 2014, vertical lifelines for employees working on the stage 2 scaffold were fastened to the structure of a vent instead of a safe point of anchorage.
