29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652(c): a) On or about August 22, 2014; excavation at Plantation Estates, Daphne: Baldwin County Sewer Company is the correcting authority for protective systems in an excavation of Coastal Utilities at the Plantation Estates housing area in Daphne, Al. to ensure they are providing a protective system for cave-ins for their employees working in an excavation approximately six feet deep while repairing an AT&T cable.
