29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(iii): The employer did not identify and evaluate the respiratory hazard(s) in the workplace; including a reasonable estimate of employee exposures to respiratory hazards and identification of the contaminant's chemical state and physical form: a) Glen-Gery Corporation located in Caledonia, Ohio; On or about September 3, 2014 the employer failed to evaluate the workplace for manganese dioxide exposure during the production of bricks requiring the additive of Brickox 6815. Employees handling Brickox6815 were exposed to hazards associated with manganese dioxide including but not limited to; manganese poisoning.
