29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards.  a) For the roofing work being done at Buryl Court in Meadowood subdivision, Temple Terrace, FL as observed on or about 09/05/2014, employees were not provided with ladder safety training and were observed using extension ladders to access roofs when the ladders did not extend three feet above the roof edge. Ladders were also setup on sloped roof sections where they could potentially slide resulting in fall hazards to employees.
