29 CFR 1910.307(c): Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous (classified) locations were not intrinsically safe, approved for the hazardous (classified) location, or safe for the hazardous (classified) location. Location - Grinding Room On or about September 5, 2014, employees were grinding aluminum dust in an area that was classified as a Class II Division 1 location. Electrical switches, overhead lighting, electrical outlets, a portable radio and an air conditioning unit were not approved or safe for a Class II Division 1 location.
