29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means:  (a) 2 Cheshire Road, Pittsfield, MA: On or about September 5, 2014, employees were observed working from a welded steel tubular scaffold that was erected less than 36 inches from a live electrical conductor powering a light circuit for a billboard adjacent to the work site.

29 CFR 1926.451(b)(1): Each platform on all working levels of scaffolds was not fully planked or decked between the front uprights and the guardrail supports:  (a) 2 Cheshire Road, Pittsfield, MA: On or about September 5, 2014, Employees were observed working on a scaffold more than 12 feet above the asphalt below that was not fully planked.   Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).

Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).
