29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury:    a) The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the applicable regulations or how to control or eliminate any hazards associated with the safe construction and support of a masonry wall.      In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.

29 CFR 1926.706(b): Masonry walls over eight feet in height were not adequately braced to prevent overturning and to prevent collapse until permanent supporting elements of the structure were in place:    a) Employees were exposed to the hazard of being struck and crushed by a masonry wall that was not adequately braced to prevent overturning and to prevent collapse until permanent supports were in place.    No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
