Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation.  The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful.  The abatement certification sheet is enclosed.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):  The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:    20641 Corral Rd., Elkhorn, NE 68022 (Job-site): The employer is failing to ensure that they had a training program to ensure that employees minimized hazards when exposed to fall hazards.  The employer did not ensure that employees knew to use adequate fall protection when they were performing residential roofing work on a house   which was approximately 10 and 13 feet from a lower level.   Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation. The ladder was being used at height of the top support of approximately 10 feet high and 6 feet distance between the foot and top support).  The employer is failing to ensure that the portable ladder being used by employees to access the roof with the  ladder  that had a bent stability foot and was not taken out of service.
