29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed, implemented and/or maintained a written hazard communication program which at included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii): (Construction Reference: 1926.59) (a) On or about September 9, 2014, at the VA Medical Center located at 1030 Jefferson Ave, Memphis, TN, Pyramid Electrical employees were exposed to various hazardous materials (including but not limited to WD40; Smoke; Spray paint; PVC cement) and did not have a copy of their written hazard communication program on site. Without proper information on hazardous materials, employees could mis-handle hazardous materials and expose themselves to skin, eye, and respiratory irritations. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

(a) On or about September 9, 2014, at the VA Medical Center located at 1030 Jefferson Ave, Memphis, TN, Pyramid Electrical employees were exposed to various hazardous materials (including but not limited to WD40; Smoke; Spray paint; PVC cement) and did not have a chemical list of hazardous materials used on site. Without proper information on hazardous materials, employees could mis-handle hazardous materials and expose themselves to skin, eye, and respiratory irritations.
