29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): It shall be the responsibility of the employer to initiate and maintain such programs as may be necessary to comply with this part. Such programs shall provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers. (a) The employer cannot demonstrate that it had made frequent and regular inspection of the roof of building one at the worksite, to identify and ensure correction of potential hazards, to include hole covers, in its role as a controlling/supervising employer on the worksite, prior to the commencement of electrical work on the roof of building one on or before September 4, 2014.
