29 CFR 1926.403(i)(2)(i): Live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact by cabinets or other forms of enclosures, or by any of the following means: (A) by location in a room, vault, or similar enclosure that is accessible only to qualified persons; (B) by partitions or screens so arranged that on qualified persons will have access to the space within reach of the live parts; (C) by location on a balcony, gallery, or platform so elevated and arranged as to exclude unqualified persons; (D) by elevation of 8 feet or more above the floor or other working surface and so installed as to exclude unqualified persons:  (a) TownePlace Suites, Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania Room 327- The employer did not ensure that a temporary lighting branch circuit with spliced connections was guarded against accidental contact.  The spliced section of the branch circuit hung approximately 4 feet above the floor in the center of the doorway to a utility room on or about September 10, 2014.  No abatement certification or documentation required.  John E. Fullerton, incorporated was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314247354, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 1, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 1000 South 8th Street, Lebanon, PA 17042 .

Several plastic cages for the temporary lights were missing from the bulbs on the temporary lighting branch circuit in the ceiling on or about September 10, 2014.   (b) TownePlace Suites, Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania Third Floor - The employer did not ensure that the lamps for the temporary lighting were protected from breakage.  Several plastic cages for the temporary lights were missing from the bulbs on the temporary lighting branch circuit in the ceiling on or about September 10, 2014.   Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
