29 CFR 1926.652(g)(2): Excavations of earth material to a level no greater than 2 feet (.61m) below the bottom of a shield was permitted: -Employees were working in an excavation that was measured to be 15'-6" in depth with the bottom of the trench shield located 7'-6" from the bottom of the excavation, exposing employees to a potential cave in hazard. The Ford Development Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 907980, citation number 1, item number 1, issued on June 11, 2013 and became a final order on July2, 2013.
