29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(ii): Employee training did not include the physical and health hazards of the chemicals in the work area: a). On or about 9/22/14, for Sterile Processing Technicians working in the Decontamination that manually scrub surgical instruments with Renuzyme Plus. Renuzyme Plus is an enzyme formula used to remove protein matter. Renuzyme contains Propylene Glycol. The employer did not provide training to include the hazards associated with using Renuzyme.
