29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift.    The employer does not protect employees from falling when a body belt with lanyard was not attached or worn by employees working from an aerial lift.  This violation was observed on or about September 23, 2014, on the south side of a parking garage where employees were exposed to fall hazards while painting the exterior wall of a garage from an aerial lift without a body belt and lanyard attached to the boom or basket.    LMI Painting, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.453 (b)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315334912, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/04/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 16835 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas.  LMI Painting, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.453 (b)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314416926, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/02/2010, with respect to a workplace located at 17727 Tomball Pkwy, Houston, Texas 77094.
