29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a- 1619 Ravenswood Way, Cherry Hill NJ: On or about 09/23/14, a company employee performing flashing installation and other related activities from a roof with a pitch of approximately 8 on 12 fell (approximately 7 feet to the ground surface below) when they were not wearing a full body harness with lanyard attached nor provided with guard rails, safety nets, etc. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): A training program was not provided to each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards, to enable that employee to recognize the hazards of falling, and be trained in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards: a- 1619 Ravenswood Way, Cherry Hill NJ: On or about 09/23/14, a company employee performing flashing installation and other related activities from a roof with a pitch of approximately 8 on 12 fell (approximately 7 feet to the ground surface below) when they were not wearing a full body harness nor provided with guardrails, safety nets, etc. In addition, the company employee had not received fall protection training. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
