29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) For the Cutrale wastewater plant in Auburndale, FL, as observed on or about 09/24/2014, Corrosive chemicals were present in the form of sulfuric acid and sodium hypochlorite. The water supply valve for the eyewash stations was not protected from being shut-off. On 09/24/2014, it was observed that the supply valve had been shut off and the eyewash stations were not functional.
