29 CFR 1910.26(c)(3)(iii): Ladders were used on surfaces which were not stable and level: a) On or about 9/22/14, at the parking lot 23-45 83rd Street. East Elmhurst, NY Employee painting exterior building wall was using an A-frame metal ladder; the ladder was erected over an unstable commercial garbage container. The employee was exposed to fall hazard approximately 7 feet to the ground. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
