29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided: a- 1 Wells Drive, Medford NJ: A company employee wearing a full body harness but without the lanyard attached, and another company employee wearing a full body harness with lanyard attached whose catch distance was longer than the fall height to the ground surface below, were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet 4 inches to the ground surface below when performing roof shingle installation and other related activities from a residential roof with a pitch of approximately 6 on 12. Condition observed on or about 09/27/14.
