29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided:  a- 130 West Colony Road, Lavallette NJ: Employees, not supplied with any fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 25 feet to the ground surface below when performing roof sheathing installation, roof shingle installation, and other related activities from a residential home's roof having a pitch of approximately 8 on 12.  Condition observed on or about 09/27/14.   NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDIITONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  a- 130 West Colony Road, Lavallette NJ: Employees, not supplied with any fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 25 feet to the ground surface below when performing roof sheathing installation, roof shingle installation, and other related activities from a residential home's roof having a pitch of approximately 8 on 12.  The worksite employees did not have fall protection training from the company on the day of the worksite inspection.  Condition observed on or about 09/27/14.   NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDIITONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.
