29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air was used for cleaning purposes even though the air pressure was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.: (a)Parkway Products, LLC at 4150 St. Cloud Drive, Loveland, CO 80538: On and before September 29th, 2014, employees were allowed to use compressed air for machine cleaning purposes with air pressure set at the line pressure of up to 90 p.s.i., using short-sleeved shirts, gloves, safety glasses, and dust masks. The condition exposed employees to a physical hazard of a pulmonary embolism.
