29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iii): Employee training did not include the measures employees can take to protect themselves from chemical hazards, including specific procedures the employer had implemented to protect employees from exposure to hazardous chemicals, such as appropriate work practices, emergency procedures and personal protective equipment to be used: a) On or about September 4, 2014, the employer's hazard communication training did not include procedures to be taken by employees when the dry cleaning machine malfunctions and employees need to remove clothing damp with perchloroethylene to minimize their chemical exposure. b) On or about September 4, 2014, the employer's hazard communication training did not include procedures to be taken by employees exposed to high concentrations of boiler additives in the stream used for pressing clothes to minimize their chemical exposure.
