29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Every open-sided floor or platform 4 feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level shall be guarded by a standard railing (or the equivalent as specified in paragraph (e)(3) of this section) on all open sides except where there is entrance to a ramp, stairway, or fixed ladder.     Imagine Screen Printing & Production, LLC/Dayton, NJ - Screens Department(The Pit): An employee was observed in an open bay door with no railing, standing on an open-sided platform lift with a rolling cart, while attempting to move the cart into the screens department, that was located approx. 4 feet from the floor.    Means were not provided to prevent employee(s) from standing on unapproved platforms to store and/or retrieve product.       a/Bay Door Opening into Screens Department.      b/Platform Lift located in Screens Department used to move carts in and out.    Condition observed on or about 10/1/2014.

29 CFR 1910.36(g)(2): The exit access was not at least 28 inches wide (71.1 cm) wide at all points:    a- Imagine Screen Printing & Production, LLC, Dayton, NJ Sewing near Pick & Pack & Ticketing Areas: Employee work stations were not provided with a minimum of 28 inches of walking space. The work station aisles were partially blocked by tables, empty cardboard boxes and product and rolling carts.     Observed on/or about 11/6/2014.
