29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Jobsite, Allison Park, PA: On or about October 1, 2014, during construction roofing activities, the employer did not ensure that employees recoating roof surface with silver coat were using fall protection where employees were working on the exposed side of the roof, where fall hazards were up to approximately 19 feet.
