29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):  Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks.                                                                                                               The violations occurred on October 01, 2014 and at times prior thereto, in the machine shop, employees working in the machine shop were not protected at the point of operation and at other locations where guards were not in place, used or over the rotating parts to protect the employees from being struck-by flying material, caught-in the rotating parts and amputation hazards:  a)  Employees operated a Delta drill press (model 17-600, serial # 1667314);    b)  Employees operated a Rockwell drill press (model 86-070 s/n not legible);    c) Employees operated a DoALL Band Saw (model C-916M, serial # 501-93325)
