29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2): Supported scaffold poles, legs, posts, frames, and uprights did not bear on base plates and mud sills or other adequate firm foundation: (a) Front side, new residential construction located at 3888 Thackary Drive, Powder Springs, GA 30127: Employees were exposed to collapse/fall hazards while working on a tubular welded scaffold system which was not erected with base plates. The scaffold frames were not bearing on base plates which exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 12-feet, 11-inches as the scaffold was loaded with personnel, masonry tools, mortar and bricks.

(a) Front side, new residential construction located at 3888 Thackary Drive, Powder Springs, GA 30127: Employees were exposed to falls of approximately 12-feet, 11-inches while working from a tubular welded scaffold platform without a fall protection system in place. No guardrails, personal fall arrest system or safety nets were provided to employees working from a tubular welded scaffold platform.
