29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: (a) Top plate, new residential construction located at 605 Atwater Drive, Smyrna, GA 30080: Employee was exposed to eye injuries while operating a Hitachi (Model NR83A-S1) Strip Framing Nail Gun without eye protection. The employee was exposed to flying debris and fasteners while operating this pneumatic tool at 120 PSI without safety glasses or goggles.
