29 CFR 1926.501(a)(2): Employees were allowed to work on surfaces which did not have the requisite strength and structural integrity. On or About October 7, 2014 Location; 252 West 57 street, New York, NY. Sub basement level 1, North East side. a). An employee was cutting a floor hole to access the rebar column frame from below when another employee was guiding a load of rebar from the street to the deck he was standing. The employee fell through the partially cut work surface.
