29 CFR 1926.651(b)(1): The estimated location of underground utility installations, such as sewer, telephone, fuel, electric, water lines, or any other underground installations that reasonably may be expected to be encountered during excavation work, were not determined prior to the start of excavation work. a) The Perkiomen School, Worksite - on or about October 3, 2014, an existing manhole was being demolished requiring the excavation of the adjacent soil which contained utility services whose estimated location had not been determined prior to the start of the excavation work.
