29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:  Macon Group, LLC dba Baymont Inn & Suites - on or about October 7, 2014, the employer failed to provide an emergency eyewash station where employees were exposed skin and eye damage from hazardous corrosive chemicals when filling secondary containers for use in hotel rooms.  An eyewash was installed at the sink in the laundry room, but the water was turned off due to a leak in the supply line.                                              REPEAT VIOLATION   Section 17(a) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 and 29 CFR 1910.1026(i)(4)(i).     Macon Group, LLC dba Baymont Inn & Suites WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OSHA STANDARD WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION #953390 CITATION #1 ITEM #1, ISSUED ON MARCH 4, 2014, WITH RESPECT TO THE WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 3680 RIVERSIDE DRIVE, MACON, GA 31210.  THIS CITATION BECAME A FINAL ORDER ON MARCH 26, 2014.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
