29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1): The employer must submit to the Agency, along with the information on abatement certification required by paragraph (c)(3) of this section, documents demonstrating that abatement is complete for each willful or repeat violation and for any serious violation for which the Agency indicates in the citation that such abatement documentation is required:  a.  The employer has failed to submit abatement certification and documentation within ten days of the abatement date, November 4, 2014, for a violation of 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), issued as citation 1, item 1, and described as follows:  On the northwest side of area D-3 where an employee was taping the exterior door trim of a fourth floor balcony, the employee was not protected from falls by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, thereby being exposed to a 36 foot fall hazard.    KJB Drywall was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 985273, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 4, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 801 Polaris Avenue, Columbus Ohio.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): "Unprotected sides and edges." Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a. On the north/west side of area D-3 where an employee was taping the exterior door trim of a 4th floor balcony, the employee was not protected from falls by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, thereby being exposed to a 36 foot fall hazard.  KJB Drywall was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 985273, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 4, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 801 Polaris avenue, Columbus Ohio 43240.
