29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met; specifically: 1) Labeling and other forms of warning; 2) SDS requirements for the hazardous materials known to be present at the worksite; 3) Employee training and information. The written program must also include: a) A complete list of hazardous chemicals known to be in the workplace; b) Methods to inform employees of the hazards on non-routine tasks; and c) Methods to inform other employer(s) of safety data sheet availability; the labeling system; and any precautionary measures to protect employees. a) At the establishment, on or about 10/16/14: There was no written hazard communication program nor training for employees using and/or exposed to various products, including, but not limited to DEF Diesel exhaust fluid, engine oil, washer fluid, stainless steel cleaner, penetrating oil, etc. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
