29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure: On or about October 16, 2014, at the job site located at 424 Augusta Ave in Conway, Arkansas, where employees were framing 2 story student residential facilities, employees erecting trusses and decking the roofs were not using any type of fall protection. These conditions exposed the employees to the hazard of falling from heights of 9 to 21 feet to the ground below in the following instances: a) The first story ceiling of Building H2 a) The second story roof of Building H1
