29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about October 16, 2014, at the above addressed job site, six (6) employees were working with seven (7) different types of machinery without a safety guard, exposing the employees to the hazard of being struck by flying chips or sparks and/ or amputations. The condition was observed for the following equipment: a. 1- Ridgid Drill Press- Model:DP15531- Serial: 064459835 b. 3 -Jet Step Pulley Drill Press- Model: JDP-20mf- Serial: 10010467// Serial:10010465//Serial:7095801 c. 1 -Dayton 17' Drill Press- Model:3Z918F d. 1 -Grizzly - Model:G9969 - Serial: 10703 e. 2 -Orbit Machine Tool- Model: DZ7000/ Model:OR-1758F f. 2 -Bridgeport Milling Machine- Model: Series I/ Serial: 2J-71071 g. 1 -Rockwell Band saw - Model: 1793791/ Serial: 28-3X0
