29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: a) Throughout facility: Annual inspections of each energy control procedures were not conducted by the employer for tasks such as, but not limited to, repairs/preventative maintenance of the powered industrial trucks, battery chargers and reach trucks, repairs of the blower motor in the cooler and de-icing of the fans in the freezer, on or about 10/20/14. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
