29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. a) River Canyon Landing Area, 1 Great Wolf Drive, Scotrun, PA - Employees feet were not protected from the ingoing nip point between the rollers and conveyor belt while placing inflatable mammoth tubes onto the conveyor. Employees were exposed to caught-between or caught-in hazards, as observed on or about October 22, 2014. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is not required for this violation. The hazardous conditions were corrected during the inspection.
