J & M Energy Services was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910. 23(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 908542, citation number1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 6, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at rig #108, Spanish Trail Lease, Well #4411, 4.5 Miles W. of Midland, Midland, Texas 79701.

29 CFR 1910.24(h): Standard railings were not provided on the open sides of all exposed stairways and stair platforms:    On or about October 22, 2014, employees exposed to fall hazards in that the employer did not ensure stairways attached to the rig catwalk and work platform had railings on each side.         a) The stairway to the catwalk on the front and left side of the rig did not have handrails on both sides.         b) the stairway to the work platform on the back and left side of the rig did not have handrails on both sides.     J & M Energy Services was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.24(h), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 908542, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on August 6, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at rig #108, Spanish Trail Lease, Well #4411, 4.5 Miles W. of Midland, Midland, Texas 79701.
