Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to have the support structure (I-beam) to which each hoist is installed, load rated to ensure it is at least equal to that of the hoist in accordance with Paragraph 16-1.3.2 of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) B 30.16-1998, Overhead Hoists    Disclaimers: 1.
