29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift: a) On or about 10/23/14, in the parking lot in the back of the M & T bank, 3700 Union Rd., Cheektowaga , NY: An employee was exposed to potential fall of approx. 30 ft. while doing electrical work on a lamp on top of a light pole from the elevated basket of a Genie Model TMZ- 50/30 aerial lift. The employee was not wearing a body harness or belt, and was not tethered to the basket or lift in any other way. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
