29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not provided when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury:    (a) NP Construction at 16603 Plateau Ln, Broomfield, CO 80023:  On or before October 22, 2014 the exposing employer did not ensure an employee was provided eye protection while operating a pneumatic nail gun while framing.  This condition exposed the employee to projectile hazards to the eyes.     Abatement Note:  1926.28(a) also provides that the employer is responsible for requiring the wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment in all operations where there is an exposure to hazardous conditions or where this part indicates the need for using such equipment to reduce the hazards to the employees.
