OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees from potential crushing hazards and/or struck by hazards from falling loads/shelving: (a) Facility, 701 Technology Drive, Canonsburg, PA: On or about 10/27/14 the industrial steel storage racks used to store product and materials had the following deficiencies: 1) the columns of the steel storage racks were not anchored to the floor; 2) there were no plaques displayed in a conspicuous place to show the maximum permissible unit load.

29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: (a) Facility, 701 Technology Drive, Canonsburg, PA: On or about 10/27/14 electrical equipment was not used in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling. A receptacle box was made into a flexible cord and was being used to supply power to a re-locatable power tap and another flexible cord powering a conveyor. The receptacle box is not designed to be used as a flexible cord.
